Where can I get married in Tuscany?
In our collective imagination, Tuscany is the land of villas and gardens with a view, castles and hamlets where an outdoor romantic ceremony can be held. Gradually in the last few years, town halls have given private villas the possibility to celebrate civil ceremonies, thus allowing couples to organize both ceremony and reception in the same venue.
Tuscany also offers unusual spaces to celebrate your wedding, such as the roofless Abbey of San Galgano, historical theaters, beaches and important museums. You can also get married outdoors, in terraces overlooking cities such as Florence, Siena, or Lucca; but also in the medieval courtyards of castles and hamlets reminiscent of past splendor. If you want to surprise your guests, we can organize your wedding ceremony in vineyards and olive groves and in a forest, if you are partial to boho style.
What is the best time of the year for an outdoor wedding?
This is one of the most typical questions. Our tip is to get married between April and early October. Lately, the first two weeks of October have become the new spring, thus allowing us to organize outdoor ceremonies with pleasantly mild temperatures.
If you already have a date in mind and are looking for the most suitable venue, contact us and we will suggest the most interesting venues with wonderful outdoor spaces, but beautiful backup plans should the weather turn to rain.
